Can I use or share your videos?

Last Updated: Aug 11, 2017 01:06PM PDT
In most cases, yes! Our videos are covered under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA license. This means you can share them for noncommercial purposes, assuming that you attribute Common Sense Education as the creator and that any derivative work created carries the same CC BY-NC-SA license. This includes hosting trainings for colleagues, posting our videos on school, district, or class websites, or including videos in training modules or on learning management systems. However, if you plan to include our videos in materials made for sale (either currently or in the future) then you will need to contact us to discuss licensing.
You can learn more about what’s permissible under the CC BY-NC-SA license by visiting CreativeCommons.org.
